I've been doing some sewing for G2's imminent arrival. I can't wait to see him/her in these sweet little outfits. There are more little sewn things to come...
This is an embroidered daygown for Easter. It was my first time trying shadow embroidery and I did really well. This was just going to be a simple little project with plastic snaps up the back. But once I got the tatting on the neck and the sleeves, it was too pretty for snaps. So I had to put buttons and buttonholes in. I really impressed myself with this one.
And these appliqued knit nighties have been so much fun to make. I've got one more cut out and I'm trying to decide if I want to go ahead and whip it up or wait and make it with pink or blue...

Emilee, you amaze me with your talent! What gorgeous work you do! I am so proud and envious of you!
Oh how beautiful! You have certainly created an heirloom.
I second the question - where did you get plain white gowns?
Emilee, I just checked in on your blog again, and I think you should start an Etsy shop! Of course, I can see you are getting ready for a new baby, so now might not be a good time. But you are so talented! Alpha Love, Annie-Laurie
